The essay that is presented is based on the Marxist theory on the ideological class struggle applied to the use of the definition of social classes and class fraction in the interpretations of Ecuadorian authors and, to specify these concepts towards the approach of social consciousness Ecuadorian woman shown in various facets of everyday life, for which some variables of being and the variable conditions of existence are established: 1) the market, the bus contrasting the market-town and the supermarket of the capital. 2) Types of housing according to social classes. 3) Main products of Ecuadorian agriculture. 4) The faces and facets of poverty and wealth. 5) The ethnic and variable structure of miscegenation. 6) Geographic determinism and landscape composition. Elsewhere a socio-anthropological vision of being is exposed in the political consciousness of the indigenous, the mestizo, the landowner, immersed in the Catholic religious culture, from where the middle class or petty bourgeoisie appears among the political proposals of the left and the oscillating right between the extremes of capitalism and socialism in whose political center the Ecuadorian society articulates. It briefly reviews the social classes and political parties of the last quarter of the 20th century, from a critical point of view.
