LAS CRISIS GLOBALES: AMÉRICA LATINA Y ECUADOR
Keywords:
Global crisis, Latin America, pandemic, society, politics, economy, axiologyAbstract
The essay presented seeks to critique modernity based on the situation of COVID-19 in the world and its repercussions for Latin America. The concept of crisis will be reviewed through the exposition of various approaches: social, economic, political and psychological in the light of contemporary Latin American and European researchers, thinkers and philosophers, to lead to an educational praxis towards the rebirth of history to the light of the axiological proposals of contemporary philosophers. The generic Latin America has been taken since Ecuador is immersed in the region.
The method used is the bibliographic review associated with suggestive questions raised by the author that allow to link or visualize, from other angles or perspectives, the aspects that are treated: Global crises, The pandemic in Ecuador and Latin America, The emotional crises and the history and From the end of history to human reconstruction. Finally, the essay is an incitement to think and to explore the historical spaces of a few decades ago in the face of a personal and social internalization that only occurs in the freedom to face fear and risks without regrets for the restrictions and, ultimately, seek the meaning of life.
