The mortuary box was placed on top of the beautiful catafalque on the main altar that was left for the visit of the citizens, the remains were deposited in a temporary wooden mausoleum in the church until 1925 were moved definitively to the imposing mausoleum of the Patrimonial Cemetery of Guayaquil.
