CLASES SOCIALES Y PARTIDOS POLÍTICOS DEL ECUADOR
Keywords:
partidocracia, populism, , political culture, class ideologyAbstract
Political parties are the reflection and the nomenclature of social classes. They arise, develop, decompose, renew themselves, depending on the different classes, of the social strata in struggle; they suffer displacements of real historical dimension; radically change their conditions of existence and development, acquire a greater and clearer awareness of themselves and their vital interests. Therefore, more than science, politics in Ecuador, is the art of deceiving and manipulating the conscience of electoral majorities in times of peace, to reach power or reproduce at the level of the sector or social class. From the left side, the legal struggle, is the resource to realize the eternal dreams of social ascent, generally of the petty bourgeoisie that yearns to move from the lower sectors of the middle class to its upper layers, and if possible to the bourgeoisie, when all political scruples have been lost, because the intelligence of the left at the service of the bourgeoisie is highly valued and rewarded, as illustrated by several cases of those who officiate today: journalists, ideologues and radio, press and television commentators.
